You have an army of soldiers at your command, you must lead them into battle but they are nervous and afraid, some are eager and excited.

Either way they need a boost,something to raise their spirits, most of your people will not even survive this battle yet they need something to go out on, they need hope.

What speech would you give your people on the battlefield before charging in.

Heres an example of a classic speech given by Tarenas Menethil II. Just so you know what kind of thing to expect.

This was rather hard actually, to come up with something that is not overly cheesy :-)

Anyways, here is my attempt on a battle speech of a Dwarf commander:

Aye, lads!

Nobody should think, we forgot, who we are.
And nobody should think, we would let anybody forget it.

Let us go out t' battle and remind them who they face!
Let us go out t' battle and defeat our foe!
Let us go and give our children a reason t' sing songs about us!
Songs like the ones we sing about those before us!

The finest ale awaits those who return, and those who do not will be remembered in song.
Get to it lads, for this ale should not be wasted on the tongues o' our enemies!
