I'll come out right now and say i've lost faith in WoW. Yes the shiny expansion may draw me back. For a time. But never as much as i currently play some others (namely EVE). But it would be so easy to make the game interesting again.

My idea:

I don't know about you but i, and other players i've asked feel that if Blizzard made servers with the Original WoW on it with none of the fripperies of the current version (Low level mounts making it too easy for example.), they'd play again.

I don't think this is an overcomplicated idea. Simply make 2 or 3 servers, maybe more depending on demand with a back-rolled version of WoW. Heck, i might even pay a few quid more for it (Dont get greedy though Actiblizz, it's killed many a great idea).
