Upgraded pc, still poor fps in raid.
by Nuckels | 25/02/2008 12:49:05![]() 3days ago i upgraded my pc, 2new ram sticks whit 667mhz, a new gfx card, a new power supply. Everything works wonders, and in nagrand i got 70 to 80fps, when zooming in to a executioner enchant i dont see a fps drop, but when raiding or in a really busy area (shattrah) my fps hits 30, and in raids it hits 15 to 20 during a boss, now i know my proccesor isnt really good, but im sure its enough to handle a 3y old game. If installed the latest drivers propperly etc. So any ideas? by Gelmkar | 25/02/2008 17:01:34![]() Hi, You won't get the full performance out out of your graphic card with that CPU, its bottlenecking the cards performance so you will only get below average performance. I'm not sure which model you have but I don't think your CPU supports Hyper Threading, so the performance you are getting is likely linked to the CPU and not so much your graphic card. Try reading the following sticky to see if any of the steps mentioned help. Performance & Stability |
