Transfering characters from acc. to acc?

Something that I have wondered for a long time now! My spouse has his own account and I have a lvl 29 shaman on it that I started a long time ago. Now i'm wondering, is it possible to transfer it to my own account? I read something that the two people need to share the same surname and adress on the account info? We do share the same adress ofcourse, but not yet the same surname. So Is it, or isnt it possible for me to transfer the shaman over? Thank you.
PS. its on another realm and I would like to transfer it to this realm.

Hi Sorella,

It is required that both accounts involved in an account-account transfer are registered under the same surname, and you can find this information in our FAQ at:

http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/faq/paidcharactertransfer.html

Q u o t e:
Who is eligible for account-to-account transfers?
Transfers between accounts are only allowed between accounts where you are the owner. To initiate an "account to account" transfer, you will have to answer the 'secret question' for each account, and the last name of each account holder must match.

However, there is more:

Q u o t e:
Can I give one of my characters to a friend or guild mate?
No. You are only allowed to transfer a character to an account where you are the original registered owner.

Please be aware that the transfer of characters between accounts that belong to different users is against our Terms of Use, and any account found to contain characters on it which have been traded this way may face permanent closure.

Our rules for account sharing are very clear, even for close family members:

http://wow-europe.com/en/legal/termsofuse.html

Q u o t e:
You may not share the Account with anyone, except that if you are a parent or guardian, you may permit one (1) minor child to use the Account when not in use by you. You are liable for all uses of the Account that has been enabled by you. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, you acknowledge and agree that you shall have no ownership or other property interest in the Account.

While it is possible for players to transfer their characters back to a previously inactive account once it is activated, sharing your account in the way in which you describe is considered to be a violation of our EULA and Terms of Use.

PCTs from trial accounts to accounts which have not yet been upgraded to TBC are possible, but it is not possible to transfer a character from a trial account to a TBC account.
