This bug need to be noticed - Cure poison

Right now there is a very important bug that needs to be noticed with the shaman class. No, this isn't another thread on crowd control or lack of crowd control. It's about cure poison.

I'm a PvPer (36/0/25 spec) and if there is one thing that has been bothering me in PvP about the Shaman class, it is cure poison.

If you're unaware, cure poison has an -extremely- high failure rate on removing rogue poisons.

Right now it is bugged to the point it's become useless. We might aswell bend over and go afk when a rogue jumps us with the state it's in

NOW, some of you may say this is because of the rogue talent Vile Poisons ("Gives your poisons a 40% chance to resist dispel effects). That's completely wrong.

For every rogue I have fought it is the same. Cure poison spam, with poison cleansing totem down, and nothing happens. It's unrealistic to say every rogue has this talent so don't bother.

Here is a screenshot as proof. - http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/3655/curepoisonbugld9.jpg -

I could show combat logs after combat logs just like that. But I'm sure other shamans that have entered atleast one battleground or arena have noticed this.

Please, bump this thread to help this get noticed. It needs changed.

I will forward this and see if I can get a reply from the developers. I honestly don't know if there is a bug with this or not, but hopefully we can find out :)

Q u o t e:
reported thread so it can get some attention =)

Do not, I repeat: do NOT abuse the report system this way. And before any snide remarks, I saw this thread days ago but haven't come around to replying yet for various reasons. This report did nothing however to make me reply to it. It will just make the job of going through the reports much more annoying and create unnecessary work.

Q u o t e:
You mean it has already been forwarded to the devs?

That's soon 2 weeks ago! This is a seriously a ridiculously bug and I can't understand it hasn't been fixed yet.

Yes it has been forwarded, and no you won't get a reply in no time. You have to be patient.

Dunno if it has been fixed but I decured a poison from a rogue in EotS yesterday :o
Please fix (btw it decures blind pretty fast - no resist to it afaik)

Sorry for late update. There was a bug where items of very low level would have poisons cast from them dispelled nearly every attempt, while items of very high level had poisons cast from it nearly impossible to dispel.

So, there was a problem with poison being applied from higher level weapons. This seems to have been fixed in 2.0.10 however – can you please try for a few days and get back to me if you still experience this? Please take the rogue talents Vile Poison and Master Poisoner in account.

Please can you reply to this Ommra, even if it is just to say that there is no update on the bug and you will let us know as soon as you know....
We don't like sitting in the dark not knowing if you are reading the posts....

We are still trying to look into this, and of course I will let you know when I have updates.

Ok, so I had the wrong information on when this bug was fixed. Apparently it didn't get fixed in the last patch (as you noticed), but will get fixed in 2.1.0 instead.

The change will be that the difficulty of dispelling the rogue's poison is based on the level of the player instead of the level of the weapon the poison is applied to.

Sorry for confusion, but as you noticed I had some problems getting hold of the right information.
