Q u o t e: I have a complaint about the webform. You all know about October 10 and the criticism that has drawn towards the Community team here, well the only channel we were left with to file a complaint doesn't work.
I am not the only one, many people felt the manner in which the October 10 "colourful feedback" was dealt with was unfair and heavy handed. Anything with the words threat, reduction of variant there of was deleted and the user banned. Some users posted one post in their entire forum life this night and got permanently banned. There was people who just got caught up in the entire situation and they were also banned or suspended. I myself was given a 2 week suspension and also had a damn good post detailing why I am annoyed at the patch notes deleted. Then the day after, the hordes of lolret trolls come in to prey on the forum and nothing is done about it.
So what are we left with? The webform. A blue even posted if we want to complain, use the webform. Unfortunately there is no reply when using it. Many who want to appeal the heavy handed treatment of the Community team have filed their complaints through this channel and gained no reply. I requested for details of actions against my account to be sent to my E-Mail and no reply. People were left in the cold deliberately and unable to launch any sort of appeal process against their suspensions or bans. There are also reports on World of Raids that at least one user has been banned permanently today for protesting at the cost of a newly implemented name change feature.
What recourse will be given to those who are unable to access the forums and wish to appeal against the heavy moderation going on? Because currently the only method of appeal does not work and customers who merely want to be heard and express their dissatisfaction at the game are being ignored and ushered out. That's assuming people see this post and you don't throw another delete / ban around for being dissatisfied with the customer service :/
Participating in spam campaigns to flood the forums with threads cannot be tolerated, and harsh suspensions will be given to everybody who is found to be engaged in such events. Spam campaigns like the one we saw on October 10th renders the forums unusable for everyone, and that is simply just unacceptable.
If you used the Community Webform to contact us regarding this issue, then you will receive an answer at some point in time. Your complaint will not be forgotten nor ignored, but unfortunately it may take some time before you will receive a reply from us, and for that we apologize.
I'm locking this thread because we cannot and will not handle suspension cases through the forums. This is due to legal and privacy matters. |
