The State of TVC- Problems And Solutions?

TVC is certainly one of the best servers around, if not the best. It has everything- nice, friendly guilds, a relaxed atmosphere, interesting people... to be sure, a new player would do well to set up shop here. Yet, for all it's virtues, there are certainly flaws and problems present as well.

One of the bigger ones is roleplaying. Or rather, the lack of it, a lack that at times makes one wonder if one didn't actually select a pvp server by mistake somehow. This is a serious problem, no matter how you look at it, a problem that touches all of us.

Now, I know why you're thinking- "what is a member of YOGS doing preaching about roleplay?" and I agree that sometimes, thoughts along those lines are warranted. But I would still implore you to set aside these differences so that we might all work togheter on something that really touches on all of us. In the words of my esteemed Guild Master, our relationship with the rest of the guild has at times been very rocky due to our unique take on roleplaying, but I assure you, the amount of OOC and "leetspeak" going on is as much a problem to you as it is to us. In this, we should really try to work togheter.

But let's be solution-oriented. We of YOGS have already taken the initiative to help better the roleplay in several areas- including Area 52, the outskirts of Nagrand, the Elemental Plateau and even the well-known and well-respected Stormwind Auction House itself. We see this as our way of "giving something back" to a fine server and a fine community who have given us years of laughs, tears and sometimes violent nausea.

If you have any questions about these efforts (or would like to be a part of them), contact our Roleplay Officer, Kaybee, by ingame mail.

Pictures of these efforts soon to follow. Let's work togheter to make TVC an even better place to be!
