The Friday Thread

The world we live in can be seen in many different ways, and there is so much to be seen that even in a full lifetime, I don't believe one can run out of wonders to experience. Perhaps if one were immortal and lived for a few hundred years, then yeah sure, however - in human terms? Not really a possibility. With such a unique and vast world to explore, and only Fridays to do so, we would like to invite you all to take a different view of the world, a view from above: http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2008/10/earth_from_above_comes_to_nyc .html From the arctic landscapes that is Resolute Bay in Canada to the "Tree of Life" in Tsavo national Park, Kenya, the wonders of the world never cease to inspire awe. Gadget inventions, pictures from other planets as well as dolphins saving surfers from sharks; these are all things that we have shown you thus far. Next up is something a little "different"..... Extremities can be found in all walks of life, even on these forums. Sports, as it may, is no exception. At some point you might stop and ask yourself where the line goes between madness and sanity. What to some people can be a "healthy" weekend activity can to others be utter insanity.
