So let me get this straight? You mean today is Friday, and I don't have to come in to work tomorrow? I've always been fascinated with Rube Goldberg machines. For those that aren't aware of them, or at least the name, they're a lot like the board game Mouse Trap, and I believe Reuben himself inspired the mechanics behind the world famous board game that is always missing a piece or broken in some way... but I digress. A friend of mine brought this to my attention this week, and it's quite possibly the most impressive Rube Goldberg machine I've ever seen. Cool soundtrack, too!

Some of us here are drivers, no doubt. I know this since some of you have been talking about your cars in another thread right here in the OT Forums. You guys I'm sure have had a scare or two in your time on the roads, but does it compare to this?

I tell you now, if that were me, I don't think the first thing I would try would be 'Oh will the brakes work?'. I think that would be self explanatory.. given the circumstances. I think I would climb out the sun roof James Bond style and pin myself to the windscreen of the lorry in a starfish like manner. Imagine the drivers face!

Last but not least, a new thing I'm thinking of doing with each of my Friday Threads -- Choon of the week! Each time I do a Friday Thread I'm gonna supply you with my 'Choon of the week' - fear not, I'm not always going to stick with the same genre, I do have an eclectic taste in music! I just prefer certain beats. :)

It's spring time in Paris now, or at least it has felt like spring time these last few days, so I'm going to go outside and enjoy the good weather this weekend :-) (I better check the weather forecast first though, as you never know if a rain cloud might show up)
