Friday has arrived, folks, so dust off your weekend wear and don your hats and canes and get ready for a jolly good show. \o/

This weekend I head back to the sunny shores of England for a bit of R&R with my big Bro. Aside from spending a few days with him, no doubt consuming some daiquiris and sampling the clean, crisp and fresh London air, I also plan a visit to my hometown to catch up with some old school buddies, have a bit of a reunion and no doubt sample the local delights I miss so much over here in France. Greasy spoon fry up, anyone? :)

In other news... science has created a beatiful thing this weel, and Dr. Evil himself would bow down to the awesomeness that is 'The World's Largest Laser'.

Sadly, this laser is not attached to a shark, or even a mutated sea bass, but perhaps it will pave the way to new and interesting means of providing power.

Friday at last!

This week has been eventful, to say the least. Besides a busy workload, and besides planning moving to a new apartment, on Wednesday I decided to propose to my girlfriend, and she accepted! I have to say, I have never seen anyone smile quite as much as in the moments after I presented the ring. She has been maintaining this smile ever since, and I look forward to spending the weekend with my lovely new fiancee.

And that's my weekend plans, summed up in one short paragraph!

I'm going to have a somewhat busy weekend I think.

I will go shopping on Saturday during the day for various things for the apartment, and in the evening I am going to see Avatar together with my girlfriend... she has not seen that movie yet and I think that is a great excuse for me to go watch it again :-)

Sunday I will have to modify and rebuild a few pieces of furniture so that they will fit properly where we want them in the apartment, and I'm going to play some games after that has been done.
