The common part of ANY team work is....

...the part where we start calling eachother retards.
It is by far
1. The most annoying
2. The most predictable
3. The most common

Take battlegrounds. You have a good start, whatever the BG is, "yes! GJ! FTW!" etc. AT a given point things go a bit bad, maybe you lost a flag, maybe you lost the lumber mills, maybe Stormpike is a bit less reachable than you expected.

There will always be that player (or those players) who have waited patiently aaaall that time for you to screw up just a little bit. It's his moment of glory. It fills his little heart with hapiness, thats why he lives for and plays for.

To call you retards, noobs, other names reffering usually to reproductive organs and functions and mental disabilities.

Same thing happens with raids and dungeons, however, in a less measure. You wipe once, you took the wrong way, you failed some escort...the PUNISHER is at duty.

And he won't stop. Ever. Will bug you so hard that you will:

a. kick him - unfortunately this cannot happen in BG's
b. start to think that you failed not only a quest, but that the whole world is tearing apart and the global warming is your own personal blame.
c. wish the damn raid / bg finishes no matter how, just to get rid of that yelling thing
d. start thinking Solitaire is not such a bad game, after all.

In AV yesterday there was a little guy that spammed aaaaaall fight. Did not even move from the starting point actually and after about 15 minutes of enduring him / her someone noticed "Hey,X, congratulations on your 0 kills, dude". The kid was probably shadowmelted in some bush yelling with CAPS ofc : "If Drek dead? NO? NOOBZ!!!"

How do you handle the situation? what is the best phrase that you noticed to silence the PUNISHER?
At me, the only one that worked so far - and in very few situations was "Listen, X, I PAY to PLAY. As I want. Send us all 20 euros monthly and I will play your way."

Q u o t e:
To take it a step further, what if that person happens to be in your guild?

One person that starts to say "cry more", "noobs", "retards", "l2p" etc after whipes when someone might have done a small mistake...

This will affect the whole raid as well as the individuals. Noone feels good to hear such things, even if you dont take the game too serious. Though when you are raiding the endbosses of this game it does become a bit serious. Everyone farming tons of consumables and you know that each whipe costs the guild around 500g in total.

Then you make a tiny mistake which results in a wipe. And the whiners come.

How do you handle them? You cant really /ignore people in the guild, doesnt work in the long run. How do you make things constructive?

I think that its always better to say: Ok we wiped, player x you made a mistake, what can you do to make it not happen again?.

This is one thing that will break guilds down and lower the moral. It might even go so far that some people dont think its fun to raid anymore and quit the guild/game.

How do you handle those? Im interested :)

I'm very interested too :) Let us hear it people.
Edit: Also interested in hearing how you do deal with the person that makes the mistake in the first place.
