Today many an era come to a close and with them so does the week. To keep an age old tradition alive I hereby present you with the Friday Thread.

So the sun has hit Paris with a vengeance and promises to stick around for a week or more. I hope the weather where you are is as much a blessing as it is here. :)

This week I've been watching a lot of the World Cup, including the tragic (yet humorous) ends to some of the bigger teams chances of winning the prestigious cup. With that I introduce you to a master piece:

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Sadly, it sounds more like a ships signal, but never the less, it's by far the most 'hench' Vuvuzela ever. Ever ever.

Another interesting read this week is about 'a world without Google'. There would be one less word in the dictionary for a start. Would there would be people saying LMYTFY? Who knows exactly what our world would be like or our internet experiences, but this touches on some of the possibilities.
