Temporarily suspensions and the future
by Immunda | 02/01/2008 15:46:04

Greetings,
Last night, my main account got temporarily suspended for 'Racial harassment'. On new year's eve I made a comment to a friend in /say which was obviously intended as a joke, but it could be interpreted by someone else as offensive so I accept my punishment, this topic isn't to challenge the suspension.
My question is about how this suspension will affect my account in the future. Will this suspension affect possible future suspensions indefinitely or is there an 'expiration date' of some sort? Lets assume for a second that in 2 years from now I will make another racial comment, will this result in a final warning on my account because I have been suspensed once already?
I like my current characters and have put allot of work in them, I'd hate to see all that effort disappear.
Thanks in advance for your reply. |

Hi Immunda,
I do not want to go into great details with regards to the features of our account penalty system for security reasons. While we do have a set of comprehensive guidelines which we are expected to follow, and we also do take into account an account's previous conduct when deciding on a penalty, we will also consider the length of time since the last offense was committed.
You can find further information on our account penalties at:

RPing a hatred for a particular in-game race is fine, so long as there are no real world implications in what you say.
