2 days ago suddenly my wow started throwing an error when i tried to start it.
I had a working version of wow on my computer which i played on more then one occasion. But the colours on my screen were a lot too bright which gave me a headache. I have a hp w1907w flatscreen which has the settings locked on the screen.
I needed to install some drivers for the screen on my computer in order to change brightness and colour settings on the screen. So i installed the drivers and changed the colours and brightness and stuff. It looked better so i thought i'd start up my wow to check if the colours were better and suddenly it started giving me startup errors (fatal exception).
I ran repair.exe, but that didn't fix it.
i deleted wow and installed a fresh copy of WOW + TBC on my pc. The game ran perfectly right after the fresh install. But after i applied all the patches suddenly the game was throwing the same error over and over again. Again repair.exe didn't solve the problem.
Any hints on what to do?
