Here's the police code for "ten-thirteen".

10-13

* Advise Weather/Road Conditions
* Officer in need of assistance
* Mental health patient transport
* Officer needs immediate assistance (New York City)

Could be one of those.

Also, "Ten Thirteen productions", the X-files company - founded by Chris Carter - whose birthday is the thirteenth of October. October, of course, being the tenth month in the year.

His pin? I doubt it, but it could be a laugh xP

The year 1013 is the year in which the Jews were expelled from the caliphate of Cordoba, the Al-Hakim mosque is completed and Pope John the sixteenth died (antipope/pope, whatever - read more about antipopes on wikipedia if interested).

The year 1013 in various other calendars is :

Hebrew : 4774
Japan : 1673
China : 3649 (year of the rat, apparently)
Julian : 1012

A google search for the number did not yield anything of special interest besides loads and loads of various legislations from around the world, some forums, an online accounting calculator and an international scientist collaboration project.

But I like the avatar - it has a... looming quality.

EDIT : got a year wrong >_<

EDIT2: okay, so the google search DID yield something interesting : RC-1013 is apparently a character from some star wars graphic novel. came across it on page 31 of the google results. will keep editing when I find more stuffs on google

EDIT3: RFC1013 is a systems protocol from the X Window System, which is used to create graphical user interfaces for UNIX environments. (this might be outdated, the file I found through google was dated 1987).

EDIT4 : Course 1013 is a standard Visual Basic 6 course, and according to the website it helps one become "Microsoft Certified", or so it seems, but I'm not a 100%.

EDIT5 : 1013.25 millibars (mbar) is the standard sea lever atmospheric air pressure o.O

That is way more references to the number 1013 than I knew of when I picked my signature ;)
