either that or there were some new models patched in that nobody else has noticed

It's possible, since I've not seen any Tauren or Gnomish scourge running around either. It's likely though that any Tauren ones were eaten and the Gnomes punted into orbit - you know, to keep the world in check.

They might now be running arounds, but there is a dead skeletal gnome couple in small room , inside a cave in.. Dragonblight, I think.
I'll see if I can take a screeshot of them.
I think the male is wearing a hat.
