*On posters outside the banks in all the horde’s major cities and a torn scrap outside the SI:17 buildings written the following message.*

Greetings fellow Horde,

I am sure by now you have seen my advertisements for Onslaught. I am Cirene Ebongrief, and I am now asking for your assistance. The Dark Lady has tasked me with a very special mission. One that Onslaught cannot complete alone.

What follows are the details. A Sin’dorei that shall remain nameless has developed a fantastic weapon. Due to the efforts of the dwarf, one mister Anvilward, it’s creator has since been assassinated though the weapon remains and will shortly be powered to use. It has also become common knowledge to the Alliance that the weapon exists and it is safe to assume they will do all in their power to prevent it from being used.

Said weapon is a crystal. If its creator was correct then upon the crystals destruction it shall open an invisible one way portal from Silvermoon city, to the point where it was destroyed. The crystal will only hold the perpetual mana it is currently being infused with at a hidden location, for two hours. Once the time is up the crystal should shatter where it is as it releases its charge and opens the portal.

The mission. Onslaught has been tasked with shattering the crystal. The designated target, Ironforge. Unfortunately to hold the perpetual mana for such a length of time the crystal needs to be bound to a consciousness, a “volunteer” has been provided and will be bound to the gem upon completion of the charging. This being will be sacrificed when the crystal is shattered, though I am lead to believe it will be a better fate for him than the one he currently faces.

So as it is with the Alliance knowing of our plans I call you. As many of you as possible to aid us in this, we must deliver the weapon to its destination. On the 7th day of the next moon the crystal shall be charged. We will gather in the Undercity to escort this crucial blow to the Alliance all the way to Ironforge.

((Ello peoples, welcome to the first Onslaught (http://onslaught.evilsunz.com) world RP/PvP event.

The Rules:

The Horde will have to escort a level one Forsaken from the Undercity to Ironforge (to be refered to as “the package” from here on)

The package will have to run on foot or swim ie no flying

.

If killed the package will have to resurrect at the graveyard

Players can resurrect and fight as they wish

The package can be buffed and shielded in any way possible

The package will at all times be PvP flagged

Alliance can attack the package or the Horde

It will begin at 19:00 server time

If the package reaches the Great Forge by 21:00 server time the Horde are declared victorious if he has not reached his destination by that point then the Alliance win

***THIS IS A ROLEPLAY EVENT ANYONE OOCERING WILL BE REPORTED EN MASS***

Hopefully this will work as a good spirited world PvP that all levels can participate in, I ask that those that attend try to only attack those around their level unless of course there is noone else, ie give players a chance to pvp fairly against those around their level bracket that way it is more of a challenge and more fun for both sides. The time was decided as it took me 25 minutes to get from UC to IF on my epic mount, so 50 minutes on foot, the extra time was given to make it fair.
