Price: 2 gold per ticket. The Stormwind Night Watch (SW Guard Guild) are proud to announce a huge RP evening event. This will be our first big event, and OOC is held as a thanks to all those who have RPed with us as guards over the last 5 months, and as a thanks to all the guild members who have not only lived up to high RP expectations but often exceeded them. In Character, the ball celebrates the promotion of our guardsmen, our takeover of the Command Centre, and the refurbishment of Stormwind Harbour. The Policemen's Ball will be held in a private location over an entire evening. The Evenings entertainment will include: Three Course Meal A full three course seated meal will be served to all ball guests Free Bar A large stock of alcohol will be available at a free bar. Once it runs dry, local wines, ales and mead will be available at usual bar prices. Dwarves are restricted to ten pints per visit to the bar (unlimited visits allowed) Championship Fighting Duels will be held within an enclosed and refereed area with the following rules: FIST FIGHTING: No weapons. No trinkets, jewellery. Only cloth or leather trousers for males, cloth or leather tops for women. All classes may enter. Winner will be crowned! MAGE CHAMPIONSHIP: Duels between mana wielding classes will take place in dress robes Winners will be awarded a trophy and entitled to use the title "championship fighter". Gambling Room There will be a gambling room set up in the basement (dedicated to the memory of Montywort the Brave). No money, IC or OOC will be involved. I suspect there will be games of "Strip Knucklebones" using /roll and other gambling games. Dancing and merrymaking Our dancefloor is being re-veneered especially. King and Queen of Merrymaking The Best Dressed male and female attending the ball will be awarded the title King or Queen of Merrymaking, and crowned by the ball guests. They will lead us in our first dance after receiving their prizes! Finally, the evening will end with an expensive fireworks display led by the Brave Dwarf Mountaineers. HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED? 1) Buy a ticket! 2g each. Apply to Ebonhart. This covers your evenings entertainment, meal, and bar. Spare gold is given to the guild members as weekly salaries for their hard work, IC and OOC. 2) Be a waiter, waitress, bar staff, or run the gambling den. 3) Bring a friend! Bring your guild! Bring your non-RPing friend to show them how you RP! The more guests, the merrier! 4) Sign up for the Championship Fighting 6) Donate decorations.
