It says the ranked matches will start tomorrow, 9 April 2008, but you said it would be 2 weeks of practice, but if it's tomorrow it's only 1 week? What?

We're all very much (and very excitedly) looking forward to the start of the ranked matches. The schedule is set up to finish on May 21st, with the four weeks leading up to that date being the weeks counting for the rating an the two before those being the official practice period for the qualifier.

The more extensive practice period this first time around will help ensure that everything is working 100% and the extra time for everyone to try things out on the tournament realms and get teams assembled and signed up should result in an even more interesting competition. :-)

I'd expect future rounds to stay more on the exact 6 weeks schedule.
