Question about migration.....

My guild has moved servers... by simply starting again, they picked a server that was created on the launch of the expansion.. End of feb ?......

anyway, i have just joined them and they are all in their 50's - 60's...i dont really have the time spare to boost myself up to that level to play with them. So, best option would be to transfer my character....

The realm im wanting to move to is Nagrand. How would i know which category it fall in for migration (from the restrictions):

It has been fewer than 180 days since the realm was launched and the realm does not have the gates to Ahn’Qiraj open yet


Does it mean if the gates are open then after 90 days i can get in ? ... What happens if the gates are opened on the 100th day. Can i get in then or do i need to wait 180 days ? Cos thats like another 4 month from now :(

Im also unsure how i know if the gates have been opened... i have not had much end game content yet.

That's the old rules. Could you give me the link to where you found those?

The current rules is that the realm has to be 180 days old to allow any migration to it.
