Hey everyone,

some of you may have heard, some may not but 30 april is a special day in Holland where we celebrate of deceased princess/queen Juliana, 30 april is her birthday and it's been a long while now since she expired. We still celebrate her birthday on 30 april even though we have a new queen now.

Normally, a city gets selected to hold the festives and celebrations surrounding Queensday, this year that was meant to "Apeldoorn", everything was prepared and it was party all over, the royal parade just left the palace as they took the turn right, then out of no-where a car appeared from the left of the royal parade, drove over/against fourteen people (of which two didn't survive) and struck a needle-shaped monument in the middle of the road.

I'll keep this thread updated with new facts as time passes. A black day in history of Holland really, even though I have nothing with the queen nor queensday.

- Car was already broken when driving for the target.

- Car was already stopped elsewhere by the police.
- Driver alive, but wounded.
- First death announced.
- 14 wounded confirmed.

- Second death announced.
- No explosives found on car.
- More likely an "accident", then a terrorist attack. People presume a psychopath.

30 april 2009, 14:30ish
- Confirmed 'terrorist' attack, the driver had all intentions of driving to the royal family.

30 april, 2009, 15:45
- Dutch national TV reports 13 wounded (which of 5 critically injured), 4 deaths.
- Driver was fully aware of what he did.
- Driver is 38 year old Dutch male. In hospital, under going surgery.
- Target was Queen.
