PT Realm Languages

I'm hoping for some blue imput here, i don't want any stupid chidlish responses.

What is the language of each PTR server, are they multi, english(international), or other? I've seen a lot of arguments which have ended up in people ignoring each other and i'm hoping that a blue guy can stop all these time wasting debates...

We ask that all players treat each other with courtesy and respect, irrespective of the intended language of the individual PT realms.

Just this evening I was asked by a German player, in German, to do something for him. I politely replied that I was only able to respond in English. He seemed happy to repeat his request in English and I was just as happy to fulfil his relatively minor request. Good manners go a long way to mend the perceived issues presented by interacting with players who quite rightly speak in a language other than your own.

Q u o t e:
Sticky this IMO , those people really need to take a look at this =)
Done. :-)

I appreciate people may wonder why we hadn't been more vocal about explaining which realms were intended for which languages. I can only say that we aim to be more informative about this in the future, but this does not detract from what I have advised already in this thread and in others.

Diplomacy is a powerful weapon of peace.

Just as a refresher, below are the intended languages of each realm. I carefully use the word "intended" because though it may be somewhat less frustrating if players of each language chose to be on just the realm corresponding to the language of their respective forums, we understand that isn't always possible, nor do we actively "police" the use of the intended realm language. And we hope, for sake of peace, that you do not either. ;-)

Brill: English
Naralex: French
Fordring: German
Remulos: Spanish

Q u o t e:
I have a request, if its possible, next time a ptr goes out, please put the language next to the realm name so that people are a bit more clear and are on realms where they can't understand each other.
We aim to. Just to note, I mentioned this already in response to another related query (about PT realm types) in the Website and Forums forum:
Only PVP servers showing on Char copy screen

The problem:
I've had no idea last week, that Fordring is a mostly german populated realm. And i've spent all available copies there.

Now i figured that out, and got a blue post about that :P

The situation is really sad: almost no chance to get in party or raid, because text and voice communication will be in german and i know only english and russian.

The question is: is there any way to transfer to another ptr realm?
Yes and no. No you cannot transfer from one PTR to the other. Yes you can still copy live characters or premades... if you have remaining copies left. Good luck. :-)
