Retribution. Sweet Retribution. Thank you Blizzfart and be ashamed. All you guys that worked on the Paladin class, shame on you!
Change some things.
Here are some suggestions, its a forum for that after all.
Crusader Strike moves to 30 points in Retribution, Repentance goes away in its current form. Why? So Crusader's Charge can come out (into its place) before WotLK comes out. Why? To cover distance in pvp. Crusader's Charge, whats that? Something between Battle Charge and Intercept.
Crusader's Charge Instant Cast 200 Mana (or any XY amount) 8-25 yard range Charge the enemy, causing X damage ( I'd say around 150-250 ) and stuns the target for 3 seconds.
What about Repentance? Repentance becomes a Retribution spell available to all paladins, it works quite different now. Wanna see?
Repentance Instant Cast XY Mana 20 yards range interrupts spell casting and prevents any spell in that school of magic to be cast for 5 seconds.
Or just don't.
You could add another spell interrupt (a physical ability like Kick & Pummel, you could make having a 2h weapon equiped be necessary if you wanted to keep holy & prot from using it all the time, which isn't necessary anyway ) and leave Repentance be. And give us Crusader's Charge in WotKL instead of another useful thing we'll be denied.
Do something about fear, give us something like Berzerker Rage, name it Unyielding Faith. Make it an Retribution Talent or just an ability. The current Holy talent sucks badly anyway.
Unyielding Faith Instant Cast None Self Range The Paladin is filled with faith, becoming immune to Fear, Sap and Incapacitate effects and generating extra mana when taking damage and doing damage with weapon swings. Lasts 10 sec.
Why this? The Paladin is a class that is supposed to have no fear and charge into battle with blabla, its truly ironic that we can't charge nor get rid of fear anyhow. This would solve mana issues for Retributon in pve/pvp, be useful in pvp (or when tanking Nightbane), not OP but still damn useful. Gief Charge too.
But... lets not get crazy. -.-
Edit: I forgot off-healing. We need a talent like Mental Agility or Nurturing Instinct which would increase our spell damage and healing for a percent of our attack power or strength. Will probably come in WotLK or never. Odd shaman and druid got theirs in TBC, isn't it? [ Post edited by Arvedui ]
