[OOC] (28/02) Roleplaying AddOn List

The following is a comprehensive list of AddOns for roleplayers, that are known to be compatible with 2.0.8.

Not all of the AddOns are a must have for everyone, about the only one that I would say fits this category is FlagRSP, MyRolePlay or ImmersionRP. I hope this list is of help to various people, as I am sure previous incarnations have been. If you know of an AddOn that you would recommend to roleplayers, that works with 2.0.8 or above; add a comment to this thread. Where possible I have included two download locations to avoid favourtism of third party sites.

Character Names, Descriptions, Etc.

FlagRSP 2

FlagRSP allows you to have a surname, (eg. Teresa Green,) title and description. It also allows you to set a flag as to whether you are playing IC or OOC.
MyRolePlay Alternative

MyRolePlay is an alternative to FlagRSP, however it is compatible. MRP offers a lot more features such as height, eye colour etc., if you're into that kind of thing. I prefer FlagRSP because I like to keep things simple.
ImmersionRP Alternative

ImmersionRP is another alternative to FlagRSP, again it is compatible. IRP again offers an extended set of features, including the ability to hide your interface except for the chat window.

Language and Communication

Lore

Lore allows you to type as you would normally (eg. plain English,) and then it will automatically convert it into a language or dialect of your choice. For example, "talkin' loik ah wee Dorf!"
LanguageCycle

LanguageCycle allows a player to quickly switch between languages. Speaking your chosen language in spatial chat, but automatically speaking either Common or Orcish in party, raid and guild.
BattleCry

BattleCry is an awesome automatic speaking addon. Highly configurable with a very simple interface, you can set up lots of different "battle cries" for many different actions with various options.

Simply amazing, Moongaze has produced over six mini games for Warcraft and they are all available in this one easy to use interface. Includes: Labyrinth, Besharded, Bomb Sweeper, Bust-a-Shard, Gems Plus, Invaders and Shard Grid.
WoW Solitaire
