New Warlock changes revealed

Hello, it's with the highest pleasure that I announce to you the new warlock changes that will be applied before World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is realeased.

You might wonder how I got this information, but all I can tell you is that I have contacts inside the developer officer, and that way, I can discover some information that comes from there.

First thing I have to say is that the changes are mainly NERFS. It makes me so glad to know that all the mage whines on the forums were worth it after all! First the shards, and now the ultimate nerf...

So I'll get to the point, and start with the new warlock class changes:

Imp:
- Summon now costs a soul shard.
- Firebolt damage halved, but to compensate the spell animation is now similar to soul fire (increased size).

Voidwalker:
- The warlock now suffers 10% of the damage the voidwalker takes.
- The voidwalker will now have a chance to shield a random enemy target instead of the warlock when "sacrifice" ability is used as he might feel the warlock is desrespecting him for sacrificing him.

Succubus:
- Seduction has been removed from the game as the ability was considering to be too powerful. In compensation the succubus will wear less cloth with the intention of desconcentrating enemy players. This is also intended as a way to give female players a better chance as they generaly have the reputation of being less skilled in video games.
- Whenver the succubus whips a target, the target has a chance to release a girly scream.

Felhunter:
- Spell lock has been removed from the game as the ability was considering to be too powerful.
- Devour magic no longer heals the felhunter and now has the following effects: When used on the warlock, it removes a beneficial buff aswell; When used on an enemy target it heals that target for the same value it used to heal the felhunter for.
- New ability: "Throw bone". Allows the caster to throw a bone to a targetted location causing the felhunter to move to that same location, grab the bone, and go back to the caster. The felhunter has a chance to bark when getting back to the warlock.

Spells:
- Fear has been removed as it was considered to be not only overpowered, but also "too scary" for children and female players.
- Death coil now has a 1 hour cooldown and no longer causes the enemy target to run like a chicken.
- Fire spells now have a 50% chance to cause a debuff to the caster: "Burning hands" that causes damage to the warlock equal to 50% of the spell's damage.
- Soul fire now costs 3 soul shards.
- Shadowbolt damage halved, as it was considered overpowered.
- Drain soul now gives no soul shards, and takes a soulshard from the warlock instead in case the target does not die from damage of the drain soul spell.
- New ability:
Remorse, Passive ability: Damage over time spells now cause 50% of the damage dealt to the warlock

Talents:
Affliction:
- Nightfall no longer reduces the cast time of shabowbolt. It now reduces the casting time of your Imp's next firebolt spell by 100%.
- Curse of exhaustion now reduces target speed by 20%. To compensate, affected targets now actualy look tired.
- Unstable affliction now has a chance per all you damage over time spell ticks on the afflicted target to transfer a damage over time spell to the warlock. Stacks with Remorse.

Demonology:
- Demonic Sacrifice now sacrifices the warlock instead of the pet and allows for the pet to fight aslong as the warlock doesn't release his corpse. The effect varies with the race of the warlock, but no details on this yet. This change was made as the tree is supposely foccused on the pet and not on the warlock. It also allows for a good synergy with soulstone.
- Soul link was not removed from the game against what was expected. Instead, the effect now transfers 30% of the damage done to the pet to the warlock, for the same reason as demonic sacrifice was changed: It's a pet centered tree, not a warlock centered tree.
- The 41 talent point "Felguard" has been replaced by "Bunneh". This a summon spell that costs all your soulshards. You do not control Bunneh, Bunneh controls you and you must do what Bunneh orders you to do. You cannot dismiss Bunneh unless Bunneh tells you to, which is very unlikely to happen. Felguard was replaced as it wasn't considered evil enough.
- Bunneh looks something like this:
()_()
(-_-)/
((")(")

Destruction:
- Devastation: Now increases the critical strike chance of melee attacks by 5%.
- Shadowburn has been removed.
- New ability "Demon Strike" now replaces Shadowburn. It does basicaly the same as the hunter ability "Raptor Strike".
- Ruin now increases the critical strike damage bonus of pet abilities.
- New passive ability "Mighty Destruction" allows for warlocks to use 2-Handed weapons.
- Conflagrate has been removed.
- New 41 talent point "Execute". Does the same as warrior execute but costs 1500 mana (at level 70) instead of the rage cost.
- Shadowfury has been replaced by "Enragement". This spell improves the effect of firestones by 20%.

Good thing you guys finaly got the nerf you so much deserved. Hmhmhmhm this tastes good...

It must be painful to realise that it took me less than a second to lock this drivel, which you have spent so much time on writing.

And what can be learned from this experience? Trolling is a waste of time!
