New Laptop.
by Slythnes | 07/12/2009 15:19:38![]() Hey, I'm looking to buy a new laptop (on a low budget) and am looking at currently a Dell Inspiron 1750 The Specs are 3072MB 800MHz DDR2 - RAM 320GB HD 5400 - Hard Drive 512 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 17.3in WLED HD+ Display Pentium Dual Core T4300 (2.1GHz,800MHz,1MB) Processor. Now, I don't need to run WoW on ULTRA settings, but I'd like to run it on mid-high(ish) settings... So I'm wondering if anyone on the same machine/with knowledge can tell me what kind of frame-rates I should expect in 25 man raids, and in general game play. Thanks. |

Actually - depending on the laptop model and keyboard size/layout, it can be quite comfortable to game on a laptop with a bluetooth mouse on the side. Personally, I have played more games on my laptop recently than on my desktop gaming rig! Community Team - English - ♪~ ( ̄。 ̄ ) . . . [ http://bit.ly/5i9s67 ] |

Well, this is obviously a very subjective question, but personally I'm in love with the Macbook Pro inspired design of the HP Envy 15" as can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/3HyUu6 I suppose the price is a bit on the higher end, however I decided to save up and go for it - something that I don't regret. My experiences so far with the laptop have been top notch. Everything from screen and resolution, to CPU and GPU power, to overall performance has exceeded my expectations by quite the margin. Oh, and I have to say - Windows 7 is everything Windows Vista should have been ;) Community Team - English - ♪~ ( ̄。 ̄ ) . . . [ http://bit.ly/5i9s67 ] |

Depends on your needs and definition of "behind". One could argue that MacOSX or Linux are years behind Windows on gaming support. I don't like comparing operating systems in such a manner; it becomes very much a matter of apples and oranges. Additionally, if anything - the internet has proven that debating which OS is "the best" with people will rarely, if ever, result in all parties involved agreeing with each other. Whether the reasons for that are pure fanboyism, bad experiences with any of the options, or simply lack of knowledge about the other products (than the one that said person is advocating), I have no intention of biting any more on your troll bait ;) Community Team - English - ♪~ ( ̄。 ̄ ) . . .
