Naming Inspiration
by Dugaro | 07/12/2009 15:27:12![]() Hello, me and some friends are establishing a social, leveling guild as we are rerolling. I have no idea if we're planning to raid or what. We probly are if we are going to keep the guild later. But the problem is our naming inspiration for the guild. It's terrible. Im thinking of maybe a guild name that reflects: Fun, Social, Friends, Family, Helpful, Kind and Respectful. So far we've come up with "La ResÃstance" and "Vive la ResÃstance" However i think those guild names may be a bit to serious, or i may be wrong? That it attracts all those serious hardcore pve raiders. We're not going with latin as ... who checks really what guild names mean unless their not in the guild? So i thought french would be a safer choice, everything in english seems so "flat, and stiff." (Or im just really bad at making english guild names, as im not a native speaker) We are going to play on a english speaking realm. Also been told about guild names like <Nagas in Disguise> but meh, sounds like a fun guild. But does it really fit a raiding guild? Please come with answers, what you think with the names i've come up with so far. And even tips for making a good name? I dont want a over-used name. [ Post edited by Dugaro ] |

Even my forum name is based on such (first letter of the 8 original WoW races). Maybe you can find something by using an online anagram finder? A few examples: A guild name = Aged Alumni Social Leveling = Evil Collegians = Illogical Seven = Illegal Novices Not too serious = Notorious Toes Etc :-) Community Team - English "Treat your password like your toothbrush.
