Hi im currently having trouble with the patch 4.0,i havent played since May for personal reasons but decided to come back to WoW last week and purchased game time thinking i'd be patched up and ready to go in a day or so,unfortunately it wasnt the case,first i installed all 3 games on my laptop,then my laptop broke..... Then i decided to try my PC which had a virus so i just didnt use it for a few months,anyway after a few days or updates and virus removing i finally got into WoW,the first few attempts would attempt to download the patch 4.0 but crash due to low memory even though i had 10gb spare,so i deleted another 10gb of crap but 3 attempts later keep getting stuck,it seems to stick on a worgen/wall file then asks me for the cataclysm disk.

Also of note my repair tool wasnt working at all untill last night,the first test it stop on 13/13 at 50% so im running it again just incase.

But i just wanted to make a post incase the repair tool fails again and need to know how to carry on then or just not come back to the game at all lol oh also i reinstalled Lich King only which was a suggestion by a poster on here i think but still no luck.

This is the error message in question ^^^^ any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Edit Update* - My repair tool is just stuck on 13/13 12.3Mb of 16.1Mb checked again,which is were it crashed last time,also underneath it says Downloading..... and Downloaded 0 Bytes if thats any help?

I would probably recommend that you fully uninstall what you've installed so far any try installing the latest client a new.

You can download the newest client which will include all the updates for WOW, TBC and WOTLK, make sure that you remove all previous patch and installation attempts prior to reinstalling the game.
