Hi, I have been playing on the European WoW Servers for over a year but am moving to Australia soon, I have thought about it and wondered. Will i be able to transfer my account somehow onto the Australasian/American Servers or will I have to start again.

Can someone please shed his light on this dilemma.

You can continue to play with the European game from Australia (although you may experience some higher latency connecting from so far away) but it is unfortunately technically impossible to transfer an account from the EU game to the US game.
