Model changes, allowed?

I'm curious to know if its allowed to change some graphics models, for example I'd like to change my T6 head into T3 looks, would this be allowed or do I risk getting banned for this?

Watching this movie its something I'd like to do but I would like to know if its a green light to do this.
http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=48572 They say its allowed so would be awesome if there could come a Blue response for this, wont be able to make a in-game ticket for a couple weeks.
