Hi peeps^^
Was kinda bored, so I thought it would be interesting to look at wether its possible, using rules derived from the real rules of maths, to argue for 2+2 becomming anything else than 4...... Any nerds out there wanna help??
Ever wonder why broccoli is reluctant to play checkers? The answer lies in trepidation. We are creatures of shoelace, lost in purple. The koala knows...

What do you get if you combine 2 two-quart water containers?
Four-quarts?

In a normal hypothetical situation, this would be true.

However if you consider that water, like all other matter in the universe, is 'in motion' you will realise that it is constantly changing form.

Even as you pour one of the containers into the other, some of it will evaporate. Using scientific levels of accurate measurement, adding 2 quarts of water to 2 quarts of water will never result in 4 quarts of water.

Of course the difference is minimal to the point of being irrelevant, but a line must be drawn somewhere and, thankfully, scientists are that pedantic!

What about:

Warp Factor 2 = 7 billion miles per hour, or 10 times the speed of light.

So Warp Factor 4 (2+2) = 14 billion miles per hour, or 20 times the speed of light. No?

No. Apparently Warp Factor 4 is 68 billion miles per hour, or 102 times the speed of light.
