Low FPS (yet again)
by Zerg | 13/05/2009 23:13:48![]() Hello, So I bought this PC about a year ago now. I've been upgrading it on the go, as my WoW experience never seems to get better and just weakens overtime... I have very low frames-per-second in overloaded environments such as 25man raids. The PC is "hybrid". Here are some "specs". Please ask from me whatever you require that may help me (or us) resolve the problem, I'm running out of ideas (hijack logs, any other sort of logs, anything no problems!). I've already upgraded the PSU, RAM and GPU and it had little or no effect on my fps at all. I am playing at fully lowest settings without the bottom checkboxes ticked in the video settings menu, and still. During buffing and such in 25mans, again with all settings on low, I get about 25-30fps. Once we engage, it drops to like 4. Graphic Processing Unit: ASUS NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+ 512MB (it's 1 card, that's just the name, it's a "GTX+") -> Doesn't overheat, the fan is working at a high RPM Power Supply Unit: TACENS Radix II 520W RAM: Kingston 2GB Dual-Channel (2x 1GB) Motherboard: ASUS P5KPL-VM CPU: Intel Pentium Dual Core 3.4Ghz OS: Windows XP Pro, SP 3 Resolution: 1680x1050 (at a 60Hz refresh rate) I appreciate in advance any help or advice that you can give me in order to fix this everlasting issue. I don't know what else to include really. I should end by saying that I have an active anti virus subscription up, I surf with noscript etc and often check for threats. I don't have any viruses. Thanks, once again. [ Post edited by Zerg ] |
