Hi everyone,

I've just tested the realms you've mentioned and they seem to be ok.

However if you were playing and now can't, try turning off your computer, then resetting your Router, as this can clear potential blockages to specific IP addresses.

Hello again,

Well if some of you don't have routers, or it didn't work, we can try some other things.

The first is one we say a lot but does fix a lot of problems, go to your World of Warcraft folder and delete the WTF, Cache and Interface directories.

If you still can't get in, then try going into the Start Menu, and then Run, and type CMD and press OK. In the command prompt window, try typing:
ipconfig /release

Then enter, then type:
ipconfig /renew

Enter again, and try the game.

If this still happens, try altering your MTU setting.

To do this, firstly download Dr. TCP which can be found here; http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp

When it is downloaded, run it and then select your Network Adapter from the drop down list. Please then enter '1400' in the box marked MTU, click Save and then restart your system. Then, test the game to see if these settings have resolved this issue. We have also seen that if this does not resolve this issue, then please try settings in multiples of 10 between 1300 and 1480.

Hello,

We are currently investigating this issue, and we would appreciate if you could supply us with trace routes in order to help us resolve this in a quickly manner.

Running a trace route can identify where the connection problems could be occurring. The trace route program tests the connection from your computer to the target location you specify and every "hop" in between. Using this program you can determine at what location the data you are sending is running into a problem.

Please follow these steps to run a trace route:

- Click the Start button and select the Run option from the menu
- Type in cmd in the command text box then press Enter.
- Type the following into the command window that appears: tracert 213.248.123.14 > C:\tracert.txt

A file will be created on your local drive (C:\) called tracert.txt which will contain the trace route information, this may take sometime so do not close down the window once the trace is complete the dos prompt with appear again..

Please copy and paste the contents of the tracert file into this post.

You are more then welcome to post more than one trace route, just indicate the times you are performing the trace route as it could better identify any problems.
