Hey guys,

I was wondering if its possible to perform an ability based on whether I have a friendly target on mouse over but also perform another ability either if the mouse over target is hostile or doesnt exists.

I know how to make a simple mouse over macro I just dont know how to do the other bits.

Thanks for any help.

Q u o t e:
Yea thanks I see how it works now got some more questions though. The macro is for my priest, so far I have.

/cast [target=mouseover, Exists, Help] Heal; Smite

Macro currently will cast heal on my friendly mouseover target provided there is one or cast Smite. What I want now is to be able to cast some different ranks of heals. I have tried using the standard modifiers SHIFT, CTRL, ALT but I just cant get it too work.

What I would like is when I press the hotkey while holding CTRL I can cast a lower rank of the spell. Ive been trying a bit but it always seems to try to press the button bound to CTRL and 1, (1 is where my macro was bound).

Any ideas.

So you have CTRL-1 bound to an ability as well? I think that's confusing the game. Remove the key assignment and the macro should work fine.
