Is ninjalooting bannable?
by Lövgroda | 21/06/2010 22:58:12![]() Let's say that I want to ninja the black drake from OS+3D, could it potentially get me banned? Thank you. One does not simply walk into Molten Core |

If you invite members to the raid on a false pretence that the mount would be rolled for, then yes it is possible that you may be suspended or banned from the game. Also, the mount you would have acquired by Ninja Looting will be removed as well. This is true if no clear loot distribution agreement was made before the start of the raid. However, if loot distribution rules had been made clear and agreed upon, then we will indeed take action against the "ninja-looter" More details on this can be found here: 27/05 Policy Spotlight – “Ninja Looting” Community Team - English The Epic Mug of Vaneras - The Alebringer: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z57/Vaneras_bucket/EpicMug.jpg |

I have no particular information about the events that took place in this particular raid you were a part of, but I can fully understand that you are frustated and even angry. That being said, it is important that you understand the difference between a loot dispute and a scam. We won't take action in case of a loot dispute, but we will take action in case of a scam. If no loot distribution rules were made clear and agreed upon at the beginning of that raid you were in, the masterlooter of said raid did not brake any rules or agreements and was therefore perfectly free to do with the loot as he or she saw fit. If you did not agree with the masterlooter's actions in this case, this is considered a loot dispute, which we cannot do anything against. However, if clear loot distribution rules were established in that raid you were in, and the masterlooter then proceeded to "ninja-loot" thus defying any rules made and agreed upon, then this is considered a scam, and in this case we should have taken action against said masterlooter. If you believe the game master did no act correctly in this case, or you feel that your ticket was not investigated in sufficient detail, please send an email to WoWConcernsEU@blizzard.com Community Team - English The Epic Mug of Vaneras - The Alebringer: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z57/Vaneras_bucket/EpicMug.jpg |

Please bear in mind that this is a relatively new policy, and we’re constantly looking for ways to improve and clarify the situation (for players and game masters alike). Please email WoWConcernsEU@blizzard.com if you disagree with the decision made by the Game Masters who handled your ticket. Our Senior Game Masters should be able to review the case if you do this.
