Hi,

I have tested everyone of the realms, internally and on an external connection was able to connect to all the realms without any problems.

If your unable to get any further that the login screen or its hanging on success then there is a problem somewhere after you have connected to the login server, the next step of which will be attempting to connect to the realm you play on.

First of all try the steps mentioned in the following thread, indicate which steps you tried and the results of each.
Connection Issues

If none of those steps helped then please provide us with the following information.

ISP –
Country -
Modem (and firmware if available) -
Router (and firmware if available) –
Network device (Driver version if available) -
Type of connection used (Wifi/USB Ethernet) -
Operating System -
Security Software installed (Firewall, Anti-Virus) –

To run a Trace Route to our log-in server:

- Click 'Start' and then 'Run'
- Type "cmd" and press Enter
- In the command window, type
tracert eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com > C:\tracert.txt

If you are able to login to the game then please perform a traceroute to your realm.

Shijo --

Technical Support is NOT a networking team, we cannot simply go out this team and say some players are reporting that they are experiencing connection problems.

The internet is a complex network of servers that is in a constant state of flux, different players from different parts of the country will use different providers, different routing to get to their realm. If we can narrow down where the players are reporting problem are from this can help us narrow down where the problem is.

It's possible that one group of players with one provider are the ones reporting the problem, or that one group of players are connecting from a particular country or region.

I've never once said the problem was on your side, I am merely asking for information that I can use to give to our network team for their investigations without anything to go to.
