If you can't log onto the PTR, read this
by Garnok | 26/09/2007 13:20:12 If you have any of the following issues, you will have limited or no access to this phase of public testing. WRONG PASSWORD OR ACCOUNT NAME - Passwords changed since the last update will not work. You can try older passwords but they may not work either. Also, accounts created after the last authentication update will cause this problem, and cannot participate in this phase of public testing. LOCKED CHARACTERS - If you did not have Burning Crusade installed before the last update you will not have access to BC content or Pre-mades. However, you may still copy your own or create a new character to gain access to the PTR. ACCOUNT BANNED - If your account was banned at the time of the last authentication update you will not have access to the PTR. PRE-PAID TIME USED UP - If you are using pre-paid cards to pay for your account the time on the PTR may show as expired and you will not have access to the PTR. OTHER ISSUES - If you are experiencing any other problem than the ones I have here, you should read the PTR Wiki written by Novia, which can be found in this thread: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=1016284025&sid=1 There is no way to reset passwords, locked characters or account access on the PTR at this time so please do not ask.
