Well, since many wondered where the old IRC sticky was, and it's totally gone cause of Hellbrandts use of the english vocabulary.
And I said that I would write a new one, so here it is!
It's a simple guid, where we use mIRC as our client.
Not much more to say i think. It's a very simple program to use, with a lot of functions.
I wount teach you how to script mIRC to do various things, but you can ask me on IRC if you want to learn some of it :P

How to : Access IRC and Khadgars channel!

First of all, we shall get our client called mIRC.


Visit the page; http://mirc.com/get.html - and download the client.
When you have downloaded mIRC, install it. (Pretty obvious i guess, but for those who didnt guess that it should be done)


Now we shall learn how to configure mIRC, so it's usable.


When you start mIRC, the options will pop right up, since it is the first time you have started it.

As shows on the picture, you can just type in some random crap in the "Full name" & "Email Address" lines.

Under "Nickname" type youre desired nickname to use, under the "Alternative" Type another nick you would like to use. Incase youre desireable chose is taken, mIRC will change youre nick to the "Alternative" automatic.

Press the "server" tab on the left side, and make sure you have one of the quakenat servers chosen.
If not, find it, and chose it, then press "Ok"

Now press the "option" tab on the left side.
And press the "Preform" button, as shown in the picture.

As the picture is showing;
You shall press the "Enable preform on connect"
Then under "Network", press the add button. A list will pop up, from there scroll yourself down until you find "Quakenet". Mark that and press "Ok"

Now type "/join #khadgarrealm" in the field shown on the picture
And press "Ok"

Press the "Ok" button again, as shown.

Now You're ready to start mIRC and connect to our realm channel.


To connect, press the lightning bolt. in the top left corner.

Now mIRC will atuomatic join our realm channel, where you can speak to your fellow realm friends.
