Honest question to Blizzard

Alright, here's a question for those who can answer it. Back when WoW was still in it's baby-shoes and growing, the time where you had to purchase new serverparks constantly, you indicated to the community that you would like to push out content and fixes faster.
So now it's 2 years after release, you've even got an expansion out. How come, with (according to you) an 8.5 million playerbase, the development cycle seems nothing faster than back when you were struggling with 1 million and increasing? Is Vivendi that much of a leech or how does this work?

What do I base this on? Well they say the devil is in the details. Many classes need a lot of small scale fixes , the balance is still horribly out of whack. Things like adding new titles still have to be done (and that was promised back in '06). There's much more, but it's just an indication.

Well, technically we are providing the same amount of content to double the amount of people in the same amount of time. I'd say that's a huge increase :)
