Having Patch problems
by Ekco | 04/06/2007 08:09:05 Im writing this on behalf of a friend yo i just got back off holiday and tried downloading the new patch, obviously im here because i cant get it to work it says 'tracker is not responding' everytime then after about 5 minutes it says i appear to be behind a firewall,it ever reaches past 0% well ive turned the firewall off completely so it cant be that, is there any kind of simple solution im not thinking of? ive never had this problem before ive tried loads of mirrors but all of them lead to the same problem unless i need to delete something in my folder? im not too sure but any help would be appreciated dyeing to get back on now ty kylaak |
by Gelmkar | 04/06/2007 20:57:13 Hello, Sometimes depending upon the type of firewall been used, disabling it may not always stop it from working, since some firewall still continue to run in the memory. What firewall are you using, as it sounds something is blocking the program from connecting to the tracker. |
