Guild Bank
by Behafrid | 01/12/2007 22:36:40 My Guild Master unwittingly lost 1,000 gold due to a a clause in the small print when buying a tab for the guild. The money came out of the Guild masters personal account. I would ask Blizzard to close the option where a Guild Master can purchase a tab if they have sufficent funds in their account. I personally think that you should only be able to purchase guild tabs with the money that is deposited in the guild bank. I would like to know how other players feel about this. |
by Issuntril | 04/12/2007 11:40:32 Hi Behafrid, I'm afraid this is not something the in-game support team will assist with. While it is true that funds for a new guild bank tab do come out of the Guild Master's funds rather than the bank, this is considered to be a working mechanic of the game, and players do actually receive not one but two confirmation dialogue boxes which they have to click to confirm their purchase (the second of which confirms the cost of the tab). This is something which is considered to be down to player responsibility, and not something which we interfere with. Issuntril |
