[Guide] How to make a ticket

Intro:
    Welcome to the “Guide: “How to make a ticket”.

    Ever since World of Warcraft exists there have been problems and also there has been a Customer Support true in-game tickets.
    Now this system has been updated several times. So this guide is here to make sure everyone knows how to make a ticket and where to make the ticket.


Game masters are normally available to assist 24 hours a day. Please keep in mind, waiting times are not always the same. Also there are some issues that Game Masters will NOT be able to assist you with:

  • In-game Hints and Tips.
    This includes information about quests, non-player characters NPCs), items, locations, or anything else that the player could possible find out trough exploration and/or interaction with the world or other players.

    There are 5 categories that I’m going to discuss in this guide:
  • #1 Solving the problem your self by looking for an answer
  • #2 Stuck (Auto-Unstuck)
  • #3 Still Stuck, Gm’s help needed.
  • #4 Report Issue (report spammers/minor (graphics) bugs)
  • #5 Talk to a GM (everything major where you need personal assistance with)


    #1 Solving the problem your self (Knowledge Base)

    You can find the Knowledge Base by clicking the red question mark from the icons at the bottom of your game screen.

    You can use the option, search by typing in a keyword at the typing space on the menu.

    If you do not know what keyword to use, you can always use the Category system.



    #2 Stuck (Auto-Unstuck)

    First: Have you thought of using your “Hearthstone”?

    If you are stuck in-game you can try to use the Auto-Unstuck button.
    This will (in most cases) relocate your character by moving it a few yards forwards.

    Where do I find this option?

    Click the red question mark icon at the bottom of the game screen.
    Select the option "Character Stuck"

    Then you press on ”Auto-Unstuck”.



    #3 Still Stuck, Gm’s help needed.

    If option #2 does not help, or if your “stuck” problem is already in the Loading screen of the game you can make a ticket at the “stuck” option menu. (This can be on an other character if your stuck on the loading-screen)

    Click the red question mark icon at the bottom of the game screen.
    Select the option "Character Stuck"

    Then you press on ”Open a Ticket”.

    In the ticket you need to put the info of what your problem is, for example:
    “My druid Nochrango is stuck on the loading screen of Alterac Valley, on the realm Alonsus.”

    For your ticket to be served you DO NOT need to be on the same character, nor do you need to be logged in.



    #4 Report Issue (Minor bug reports where you do not need to speak to a GM)

    If you want to report a little graphic bug, spelling error in a NPCs name, or report a spammer.

    You can use the ”Report problem” option on the menu.

    A Game Master will read this, and address it to the appropriate department at Blizzard.
    Usually you will not get to speak a GM about this however they may get in touch depending on the issue.



    #5 Talk to a Game Master (everything major where you need personal assistance with)

    You can get in contact with a Game Master by opening the Red Question mark on your menu bar.

    Then use the option ”Talk to a GM”

    Please try to put as much information as possible in the ticket.

    Getting in contact with a GM can be between 1 minutes and several hours! (depending on how busy it is at Blizzard)
    Please try to keep this in mind, they try to serve your ticket as soon as possible!

    You do NOT need to be on the same character which has the problem. If you are Offline when the GM is coming to your ticket, you will get an in-game mail with information.
    If possible without talking to you, the GM will solve your problem even if your offline!

    Please keep in mind that you will only need to raise one ticket about an issue. Raising a second ticket from the same character will close the previous one and will reset your position in the queue causing you to wait longer.

    The best thing to do Oblivation would be to raise an in-game petition explaining the situation and one of our support representatives will be happy to take a look into it for you. :)
