Hi and sorry to bother but i would like an official answer on why good posts are removed from the forums. I wanted to reply to Soulg's posts that were on the Suggestions Forum and i discovered they have been removed. He wrote a lot of things about the upcoming expansion , good ideas that i noticed were actually implemented in Cataclysm.(some of them) Those posts should still be there for everyone to see and i don't find the reason to remove them since he didn't violate any of your rules. Although I cannot go into the specifics of the post you are referring to, I can tell you that there can be many reasons why posts get removed. In most cases by far, posts are removed if they are somehow deemed inappropriate or unsuitable for these forums, in some extreme cases if there are already many threads on any given topic (When this happens, it mostly occurs in the suggestions forum where people have a tendency to post suggestions before reading stickies or checking if someone else had posted it already them).

In some more rare cases, all of a persons posts(both good and bad) can be removed at an instant if for an example a person has had his account compromised, and it has been used for spamming malicious content.

The moderators are only human, and they can make mistakes and delete a post by mistake. It has for an example happened that a post got removed where it should have been locked instead.
