i've had my hardcore periode and played this game since beta, but i want to start a new charachter now just to relaxe and take it easy. i rolled on a pvE server where i though i would be far away from the ganking and i could quest in peace and quiet.

but i was wrong. today i was ganked in goldshire.

have i completly misunderstood? can you still gank on pve servers? i was unflagged for pvp and thought horde couldn't attack me then.

i thought pvp were servers you expect and want to fight oposite fraction and pve were servers you could choose.

can someone please explain this too me?
