Please note that these forums are not a direct means of support if you are having any issues when playing World of Warcraft you should contact us directly either using the telephone or e-mail. You can read the forum rules here: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=14551594&sid=1 As for your problem first of all could you tell us if you are using a wireless connection, if you are could you please indicate what operating system you are using and the network device that is connecting to your Netgear router. |
by Gelmkar | 05/02/2008 11:10:33![]() Hi Just as a note, posting in CAPS is definitely not the way to get anyone's attention, I avoided locking your thread the first time but we can and will lock threads that uses CAPS in the title as such is against the forum rules. The problems you are having are likely linked to you using Wifi. As you are using Windows XP this makes it a little easier to possibly solve. Windows has a feature called "Wireless Zero Configuration", which is designed to automatically configure a wireless connection, or make it easier to configured a connection, a side effect of this service is that is scans periodically for local wireless networks. You can disable this service but you need to make sure that your wireless devices has its own software which to build a connection to your router. The following website has details on how to disable WZC http://www.ifelix.co.uk/tech/2000.html And a final note, playing on illegal servers not only put your account at risk its also against the agreement you sign when you created your account, I'd suggest you avoid using such servers. |
