My g.f is frequently getting system lockups while playing WoW that don't occur whilst she's playing her other games, Sims 2 or City of Heroes.

Her system specification is a Packard Bell iPower 7650 which has an AMD 5000+ processor, 2GB ram (unknown type), 2 x 7600GT in SLI (which is enabled) and a 2 x 250GB hard drives in RAID 0. It's running Windows XP Home

The lockups definately occur when switching to the desktop and the PC has issues whereby it will frequently drop to desktop at random (which I'm hoping will be fixed by getting rid of the wireless keyboard the machine came with).

Any ideas on what causes it to lock up though? New drivers (if so which is the most stable atm for XP & 7 series cards), what about any settings I can tweak in the nView panel?

Really need to fix this, she's unsure about playing WoW and I'd rather have her on this than nagging me to play City of Heroes with her :)

Hi Kraak,

As of yet we don't support SLI and we've also seen some people with SLI have problems after the patch. Can you try disabling SLI and testing that way? Just to see if that works.
