Functional Guild Housing.
by Lukos | 15/05/2007 15:54:14 There have probably been hundreds of guild housing threads, this is my suggestion which i think differs a bit from the others. Let the guild have their own hangout, in Ogrimmar/Stormwind with an instance portal leading into it. No news there so far. However do not only make it a lair where you hang out and chitchat with your guildbuddies. Make a pvp duel ground where you can practice easy and get advice from your fellow guildmates. Make a pve training ground where tanks can practice their tanking skills without getting killed and paying tons of gold for repairs. A training ground for dps'ers to set dummy target for like 5 minutes to practice conserving mana/energy/rage during that time and conserve mana/energy/rage for special abilites that has to be stopped while doing maximum dps. A training ground for healers to heal dummy targets during time to learn how to conserve mana and be efficient healers. Perhaps the dummy targets or mobs could be combined into all of the above to really practice raiding skills in a safe and friendly environment, where you can try all that really crazy stuff that gets you hated and guildless if you do it in a real raid. Ofc it would be nice with a hang around area too where you can sit down with your fellow guildies and have a beer or two. |

Player and guild housing suggestions and ideas are indeed something that we frequently see in this forum, but that is understandable because who wouldn't like to have a place to call their own in the game?! Player housing is something that is on the table for the future, but it is not something that we have immediate plans for. The timing of implementing something like this relies on what other projects may take priority. The implementation itself is also something that would need to be well thought out. Behold!
