[Frostmane] Druid Chicken-Race! (3/2)
| by Duskhorn | 31/01/2007 18:03:08 ( original post: http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=120474907&sid=1&a Greetings! This weekend the druids of Frostmane will gather in Nagrad for the first-ever Druid Chicken-Race! Saturday; 19:00 Exact location:Nagrad; Throne of Elementals The rules of the sport is simple: Druids of the talon form a circle on the ground, shift into Flight Form, fly straight up to a set height and shift out at my signal. The idea is to shift back into flightform as close to the solid ground as possible. The druid that is highest up at the end of each round is removed from the competition. This is signaled by a spamm of /point. If you land flat on the ground you are advised to leave the competition and join the crowd instead. Cenaron medics will rejuvenate you. (In other words: disqualified.) In the end there will only be one victor. Pride, above all.
You must be druid of the 68:th level or above. You must show up in time, preferrably 15 minutes before the first round takes place. I have positioned shadowmelded hunters to snipe you down if you come too late and force yourself into a round. You must unequip all your gear - I will not compensate for loss in durability - and you are not allowed to use drugs, such as noggerfogger or parachute cloak. You are not allowed to blame negative results on lagg or other/any circumstances. If 56 mages show up and spamm aoe where the lot will land then too bad. This is to keep the event within certain timeframes. You must understand that this is mostly for fun and that none will remember you for being the druid that mastered the talon in the first competition. It's a game, in a game. Terms for the crowd: You are not allowed to walk within the ciircle where the druids are supposed to land (or avoid to land on) You are allowed to be mounted on the ground or midair, but only at a trees height max. I need to see what's going on and confirm that you're not blocking my or the contestants line of sight. You are not allowed to start a fuss due to being ganked by player X the other day and wanting to take revenge. There is a time for everything, this will be a time of sports and celebration. You are not allowed to use magic that can block the line of sight and/or cause lagg for the contestants. I'm sure the idea of throwing a granade at the right timing, causing all the druids to be stunned and preventing them from spreading their wings instead of crashing through the surface of Mother Earth, is rather tempting. Positive magic such as tranquility is included in the "DO NOT"-list. Any action that has a graphic or cause healing/buffing/damage/debuffing may cause lagg. rules may be subject to change as I please. also posted on: Druid - http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=120474938&postId= General - http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=120474911&sid=1 [ Post edited by Duskhorn ] Duskhorn - http://www.onlinecenter.nu/?338926061020000050 >:D And God said to thee;
