Forum Posting and Authenticators
by Lustellari | 27/07/2010 22:50:22![]() Oh dear .. has someone at Blizzard been playing with the Forum Controls ... AGAIN ? Several months ago you briefly switched on the need for Authenticators to work with the forums. After a lot of complaints you VERY QUICKLY switched it off. Now .. I may be going mad (no I'm not .. OH YES YOU ARE!.. shut up .. OK!!!!) but I think you've switched it on again. (\__/) ( o.O) This is Bunny. Copy and paste bunny into (")_(") your signature to help him gain world domination. |
by Vaneras | 28/07/2010 09:19:49![]() We apologize for the inconvenience this may be causing you, but the fact that the forums are now requiring an authenticator code is a part of our ongoing dedication to account security. Players who utilize authenticators on their account will now be asked to enter it upon their first time logging into the forums, and then periodically thereafter. By ensuring that, even if their account is compromised, without the attached authenticator their login credentials can’t be used. This additional security layer helps to better protect players in all services accessed by logging in with their account and password.
