i know this is going to be like throwing eggs against a brick wall but my addiction is screaming out and I was wondering if there will ever be the option to transfer US based server characters to an EU realm.

Yes I have read the paid character transfer rules as well.

I do miss my old characters and moving from New Zealand to the UK and having to level again and playing casually is all taking its toll, making me a sad panda.... (Not after sympathy)

It is currently not possible to transfer characters from a US realm to an EU one, or vice versa.
